REGISTER TODAY FOR OUR ANNUAL WALK FOR SUICIDE AWARENESS

08.17.20

Our annual Walk for Suicide Awareness will take place this year on September 19, 2020. Our walk and online auction will be virtual this year. What does this mean? Get together and walk wherever you want! Neighbors, friends, family, sports teams, church groups, co-workers… register for FREE and order a t-shirt! Walk wherever you want, when you want, and then post pictures on facebook, instagram, or twitter with the hashtag #communityforhope or #CFHwalkforsuicideawareness2020

We will be awarding prizes for the most creative group of walkers, the most unique place to walk, and the furthest group of walkers from Oshkosh, WI… another state maybe???

Later that same day, our online auction will take place on Facebook. Check out our amazing items that include, food, wine, and places to visit!

All funds raised will go directly to providing educational training on the topic of suicide awareness, grief support groups, and other activities that promote suicide prevention here in Oshkosh, WI, and throughout the Fox Valley.

The COVID crisis has clearly shown us the significant need for education and awareness around the topic of suicide and mental wellness. Calls to law enforcement and other crisis groups have increased as individuals are more isolated and anxiety increases. As we continue to navigate unchartered territory, the most important thing we can do is SUPPORT. Support your family and friends, your neighbors, local businesses, and help SUPPORT Community for Hope so that we can continue to work every day to prevent suicide.
